About me & how I work

I am a fully qualified counsellor, and registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP).

I am trained as a Humanistic Integrative Counsellor which means I can offer a unique tailored approach to meet the needs of individual clients, through drawing on my knowledge of different counselling models.

My work is based on Person-Centred principles which involves building a good therapeutic relationship of respect, empathy, warmth and authenticity.

I also use tools and techniques from CBT, Mindfulness, Inner Child, and creative approaches.

My training included, counselling for baby-loss charity, NHS GP practice and counselling for 16–18-year-olds.

Before training as a therapist, I worked within the voluntary sector, social services and education with vulnerable adults and children.

    I can offer you:

    • Face to face counselling - counselling rooms in Poole & Wimborne
    • Online counselling
    • Telephone counselling
    • Walk & Talk counselling
    • Short or long-term focused counselling
    • Flexible appointments

New beginnings are often disguised as painful endings.
